Saturday July 19th Honey Harvest Day.

From noon until 5pm members of Liberty County Beekeepers extracted honey at the Agrilife offices in Liberty, Tx. The demo was a huge success! We had over 100 people come by and watch how we get the honey from the frames in the hive. Thank you to all those that helped make Honey Harvest Day a success. Cameron Crane, Ron Bentley, Jesse Bentley, Joshua Crane put in a full 12 hr. day doing so much of the set-up, running the extractor, taking down, cleaning up and packing up. Kimberly Bentley, Miranda & Cory Smart, Carla Stanley were there helping set-up at 10am helping unload and set-up and kept things under control and running smoothly indoors at the displays and honey sales. Kenneth Droxel brought sample hive equipment and shared beekeeping with people all afternoon. David Tanner came in as soon as he was off work and helped us get all the rest of the honey extracted and help load the last of all the equipment up. MANY, MANY thanks to each and every one of you that made this day so great!
